Held on the 2nd of July 2008 the Boat Cruise from Stoke Bruerne

The event raised £100 in a raffle organised by Clive and Terry.

The trip was from Stoke Bruerne through the famous Blisworth Tunnel and past the village of Blisworth to Gayton Junction. We then travelled down the Northampton Arm of the canal to the top lock and turned around for the return journey. We enjoyed a buffet dinner on board and celebrated W.Bro Geoff Butchers birthday. The commentary provided by David Balgrove on the historical aspects of the canal and Blisworth Tunnel were enjoyed by all, his knowledge and interest came though to make an enjoyable evening special.
