The WM his Lady and young Daughter were very pleased to host a Spring Luncheon for the Lodge Widows on the 26th April 2007 at the Three Conies at Thorpe Mandeville. The Lunch was very well attended by the Widows and also supported by SW Bro Mike Durrant; W Bro Peter Cottrell; and W. Bros Brian Cable and Steve Causby with their Ladies.

The Lunch was a great success and apart from being blessed with glorious weather and a wonderful meal, it provided a great opportunity for our Lodge Widows to meet with friends old and new in pleasant surroundings. We have already received a number of letters and cards from the widows expressing their appreciation to all of the brethren of Waynflete Lodge for both the Lunch and the gift of the manicure set.

We are sure that the Spring Lunch will become an annual event and look forward to seeing everyone again next Spring.
